This EQ is the top model. It has precision wound inductive coils, instead of ICs that mimic the real thing. With this it gives you 15dB boost/cut, where most EQs offer 10 to 12dB. Distortion is rated at less than 0.01% THD and IMD. A Sound/Noise ratio of 114dB @10V. This unit tested better than rated. The comparator system is accurate to 0.1dB and allows you to keep the output level the same as the input, so to not clip signals or add unneeded noise depending on whether an EQ curve increased or decreased a musical signal.
This is what everyone wants! New sliders to get rid of the original sticky, out of spec, units. I am the only one who was taking them all apart and cleaning them. And now I am the only one with new PCBs and sliders to replace them all. This brings this unit into audio-nirvana with new sliders, capacitors, operational amplifier chips, and paint. Fully tested and ready to go.
Don't be fooled by the imitators that claim it's serviced in the title, because they took the cover off and sprayed out the pots and looked at it. No one services more Soundcraftsmen products than me. You can be assured you're getting the best.
