This preamp uses all solid state CMOS switching to route the audio signal, and does so near the RCA connections so there is no additional noise picked up going to the front of the preamp. And it is one of the best S/N for a preamp. It has many inputs and signal loops for EQ and sound processors. Very versatile.

Input sensitivity for .5V output, phono = 1.75mV, high level = 120mV
S/N 2V output (A weighted, phono = 85dB, high level = 105dB
